These threads (as sutra translates from Sanskrit) of wisdom offer guidelines for living a meaningful and purposeful life. Learn more about the sutras and Patanjali, the sage who wrote them. Yoga philosophy, often simply referred to as yoga, is one of the six main darshans, or the orthodox schools of Hinduism. The origins of this philosophy are unclear, but first references can be found in the Upanishads from the 1st millenium B.C.E. Yoga is a dualist philosophy, working with two fundamental realities: purusha, meaning pure consciousness, and prakriti, meaning matter. Every living being is a form of connection of these two realities and every living being is considered a union of body and mind. The path of yoga is guided by ethical principles, yamas and niyamas, and should ultimately result in moksha (spiritual liberation). The philosophers and practitioners of Yoga developed this theory and practice of self discipline which is very much required to remove physical and mental illness completely if practiced daily as per the instructions of the guru. The difficult problems of terrorism of today can also be eradicated by the practice of Yoga.</Text></TextContent><SupportingResource><ResourceContentType>01</ResourceContentType><ContentAudience>00</ContentAudience><ResourceMode>03</ResourceMode><ResourceVersion><ResourceForm>02</ResourceForm><ResourceLink>https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0623/5622/6271/products/9788194216971_1024x1024@2x.jpg?v=1674303492</ResourceLink></ResourceVersion></SupportingResource></CollateralDetail><PublishingDetail><Imprint><Publisher><PublishingRole>01</PublishingRole></Publisher></Imprint><CountryOfPublication>IN</CountryOfPublication><PublishingStatus>04</PublishingStatus><PublishingDate><PublishingDateRole>01</PublishingDateRole><Date dateformat="00">20190101</Date></PublishingDate></PublishingDetail><ProductSupply><SupplyDetail><Supplier><SupplierRole>01</SupplierRole><SupplierName>Shhalaj Publishing House</SupplierName></Supplier><ProductAvailability>20</ProductAvailability><Price><PriceType>02</PriceType><PriceAmount>1545.00</PriceAmount><CurrencyCode>INR</CurrencyCode><Territory><RegionsIncluded>WORLD</RegionsIncluded></Territory></Price></SupplyDetail></ProductSupply></Product>
