The book ‘Right to Toilet’ looks at the basic human amenities for toilet and sanitation. These present a shocking and stinking picture, especially for women, girls and the poor living in slums and villages. While information and education have become the ‘rights’ of the Indian citizen, the provisions of toilets and drinking water are not so. The author suggests to aggressively provide the toilets and sanitation infrastructure all over as a basic human need and making India open defecation free.
